This program illustrates the importance of a collaborative community response to teenage victims of crime.

Adolescents represent approximately 14 percent of the general population, yet they comprise about 31 percent of individuals who become victims of violence. In fact, teenagers are approximately twice as likely as other age groups to become victims of violence.
